Hunslet: The current committee is stepping down, and now it’s time for residents to get involved. They’re invited to the annual general meeting of the Hunslet Tenants & Residents Association. A new committee will be chosen to represent everyone in the area.

This meeting is happening on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 6 PM. It’ll be at the Involve Centre on Whitfield Avenue. And guess what? There will be light refreshments, so you can grab a snack while you chat!

The group covers several areas, including Hemingway, Midlands, and Rochefords, among others. It’s a great chance for folks from these neighborhoods to come together.

Cllr Paul Wray, who’s been organizing the meeting, emphasized how important these associations are. They help connect residents and work alongside the Council and other services.

He also thanked the outgoing volunteers for their hard work and the fun community events they organized. Cllr Wray is looking forward to collaborating with the new committee.

This info comes from a press release by Cllr Paul Wray, and it’s great to see the community getting involved!
