Birmingham: So, Jamie Brassington was on the M6 during rush hour, and it was a real eye-opener. You know how it gets crazy out there, right?

He shared his experience with Birmingham Live, and honestly, it’s wild. Picture this: it’s still dark outside, and they’re hitting the road for work.

Summer’s gone, and the mornings are gloomy now. A light rain was falling, making everything look a bit foggy. But that didn’t stop the early birds from zooming along.

Traffic was already piling up between Junction 10a and Junction 9, a notorious spot for jams. To help with the flow, they put up a 60mph speed limit. Smart move, right?

But guess what? Most drivers didn’t care. They were flying past at over 70mph, like the speed limit was just a suggestion. Only a few were actually following the rules.

It’s a shame because the Highway Code is pretty clear about this. There’s a rule that says you can’t go over the speed limit, especially when those red signs are flashing. But it seems like many drivers just forget about it.
