Birmingham: A new interactive map is making waves by showing where crimes happened in the city centre. It breaks down the latest police data, so you can see which streets are the most affected.
According to the latest stats from October, there were a whopping 1,357 crimes reported in the heart of the city. High Street was a major hotspot, with 90 incidents, including 50 cases of shoplifting.
On top of that, three people were robbed on High Street, and there were ten reports of violent or sexual offences. Five more incidents involved criminal damage or arson. Other streets like Hurst Street, Moor Street, and Worcester Street also saw a fair share of trouble.
