Inverness: The annual Best Bar None Awards just wrapped up, and it was a night to remember! Johnny Foxes & The Den snagged the title of overall best bar, plus they won for innovation in social responsibility.

Playback was recognized as the best newcomer, which is pretty cool, and The Gellions took home the heart of the community award. It’s great to see these local spots getting the recognition they deserve!

Several winners will move on to the national finals in Stirling on March 27. The Auctioneers, Highlander, and The Chieftain Hotel are also in the running for their respective categories.

The full list of winners is impressive. Besides the top honors, there were gold and silver awards for various bars, showcasing the vibrant pub scene in Inverness.

Don Lawson, a local businessman and chairman of Inverness Pub Watch, organized the event with support from Inverness BID. It’s always nice to see the community come together to celebrate local talent!
