A violent struggle in Buckie led to a man losing part of his nose, resulting in serious legal consequences for the attacker
Inverness: So, there was this wild incident in Buckie where a guy ended up biting off part of another guy’s nose. Can you believe it? It all went down on September 1, 2023, when 20-year-old Thomas Stewart got into a fight with Colin Reid at Reid’s place on Milton Drive.
The police were called after someone tipped them off about Reid’s injury. They even found a piece of his nose in the garden! At the court, it came out that Reid initially tried to cover up what happened, claiming a dog bit him. But later, he admitted that Stewart was the one who attacked him.
Stewart, who was represented by a solicitor, confessed to the assault, which caused serious injury and permanent disfigurement. The judge has put off his sentencing until February 18 to get a background report. Reid had to undergo plastic surgery to fix his nose, which is just awful. What a crazy situation!
