A 44-year-old man from Inverness is in custody after making vile threats to paramedics and staff at Raigmore Hospital
This all went down on January 5. Apparently, he was at his home on Gilbert Street when he started acting out. He refused to cooperate with the paramedics and made all sorts of nasty comments. He even threatened to throw up all over the ambulance, saying it would be their job to clean it up. Can you believe that?
But it didn’t stop there. He also threatened to urinate and defecate on the medical staff at the hospital. That’s just over the top!
When he got to court, he didn’t even plead to the charges. He also had another charge for misusing the 999 service, claiming he would self-harm just to get an ambulance sent to him when there was no real emergency.
He was represented by a local solicitor and is set to appear again in court later this month. It’s a wild situation, and it’ll be interesting to see how it all unfolds.
