New York: Jay-Z is still fighting off those rape allegations. Just recently, a judge said no to his request to dismiss the case. The judge, Analisa Torres, ruled that the woman from Alabama, who claims Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulted her when she was just 13, can remain anonymous.

She even called out Jay-Z’s lawyer for being too aggressive and using harsh language against the plaintiff’s attorney. It’s getting a bit heated, to say the least.

According to reports, Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, is now arguing that the timeline of the allegations is off. He claims the woman, known as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, should have filed her case by August 2021 at the latest.

Spiro insists that any claims under New York’s Child Victims Act are too late. He pointed out that the law was updated in 2019, giving a bit more time, but he believes Jane Doe and her lawyer are still three years behind.

Jane Doe’s lawsuit says she was raped at an MTV Music Awards after-party after sneaking out of her house in Rochester. She hitchhiked to New York and claims she called her dad for a ride after the incident.

However, her father doesn’t remember picking her up, which adds another layer to this complicated story. Spiro has said that her claims are based on an “impossible timeline” and a place that doesn’t exist.

He’s been pretty vocal, saying, “This never happened,” and that the whole story is not just a lie but “provably, demonstrably false.”

Last week, Judge Torres mentioned that Spiro has been filing a lot of aggressive motions and letters, which she thinks is a waste of time and resources. She made it clear that just because Jay-Z’s lawyer wants things to move quickly, it doesn’t mean they will.

As of now, Spiro hasn’t commented on the latest developments. It’s a wild situation, and it looks like it’s far from over.
