Jungle Mania in Warrington has been given a one-star food hygiene rating after a recent inspection revealed major improvements are needed
Warrington: So, Jungle Mania, that soft play spot in the town center, just got a not-so-great food hygiene rating. Environmental officers from the Warrington Borough Council popped in for a routine check on December 4. And guess what? They gave it a one out of five! Yikes! That means they think major improvements are needed.
The report is now up on the Food Standards Agency website. It breaks down the rating into three areas: how food is handled, the cleanliness of the place, and how food safety is managed.
For food handling, they said it was “generally satisfactory.” But when it came to cleanliness and the condition of the facilities, they flagged it as needing some serious work. And for food safety management? Well, that one got a big red flag for major improvement too.
It’s a bit concerning, right? They need to make sure everything is safe for the kids and families who visit. Let’s hope they step it up soon!
