A man reportedly laughed while confessing to kidnapping and threatening a woman in Texas, raising concerns about his demeanor during the interrogation
Haltom City: A kidnapper is making headlines for his bizarre behavior during a police confession. Eduardo Javier Ordonez Godoy, 35, allegedly threatened a woman and even joked about it.
The incident happened on Christmas Eve when a 22-year-old woman was taken at gunpoint. Godoy forced her into her own car and made her withdraw cash from an ATM.
After a terrifying ride, he threatened to sell her organs or force her into prostitution. Thankfully, he left her tied up but unharmed in Grapevine, and she managed to escape.
Police caught up with Godoy the next day in Oklahoma City, where he was found in the stolen vehicle. His odd behavior during questioning surprised detectives; he was smirking and giggling, almost proud of his actions.
Godoy, originally from Honduras, has a history of similar crimes and has been deported before. Now, he faces serious charges, including aggravated kidnapping and robbery.
The investigation is still ongoing, and it’s a relief that the victim is safe, even if shaken by the experience.
