A knife fight in Exeter has left two men hospitalized with stab wounds, prompting a police investigation and an arrest.
Exeter: Early this morning, two guys ended up in the hospital after a nasty knife fight at a home. It all went down around 5:30 AM, and a man in his 60s has been arrested.
Police rushed to Durham Close after getting reports of the stabbing. They found two men who had been in a serious altercation. Right now, they’ve set up a crime scene to figure out what happened.
The arrested man, who’s 62 and from Exeter, is being held on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm. As of now, he’s still in custody while the investigation continues.
Devon and Cornwall Police have assured everyone that there’s no ongoing threat to the public. However, Whipton Barton Road is closed off in both directions, so keep that in mind if you’re in the area.
