The UK inquest reveals Liam Payne died from multiple traumatic injuries after a fall in Argentina
Buenos Aires: So, it turns out Liam Payne, the One Direction star, died from multiple traumatic injuries. This was revealed during a UK inquest into his death.
The 31-year-old singer fell from a hotel balcony in October. The inquest confirmed he died from something called “polytrauma.” It sounds serious, right?
The hearing took place on December 17, and the coroner mentioned it might take a while to figure out exactly what happened to Liam.
They’ve postponed the inquest until a pre-inquest review on November 6. It’s a bit of a waiting game now.
Five people have been charged in connection with his death at the Casa Sur Hotel. This includes the hotel manager and a receptionist, who are facing charges of negligent homicide.
Two others have been charged with supplying cocaine. It’s a pretty heavy situation all around.
Liam’s funeral was attended by family and friends, including his girlfriend and his former partner, Cheryl. His One Direction bandmates were there too, which was nice.
The coroner, Crispin Butler, mentioned that while investigations are ongoing in Argentina, it might take some time to get all the necessary information.
Recently, it was revealed that Liam had been asking for drugs and alcohol during his stay at the hotel. On the day he died, he was reportedly unable to stand due to substance use.
It seems he tried to leave through the balcony and fell. Such a tragic end for someone so talented.
