Lily Allen has announced a break from her podcast to prioritize her mental health, expressing she’s not in a good place right now
London: So, Lily Allen just shared that she’s taking a break from her podcast, Miss Me?, with her friend Miquita Oliver. She mentioned she’s really not feeling great lately.
In the latest episode, she opened up about her struggles with mental health. It sounds like she’s been going through a tough time and feels like she’s been spiraling.
There are also rumors that she and her husband, David Harbour from Stranger Things, might have split. They got married in Vegas back in 2020 and were living in New York with her two daughters.
During the podcast, she said she can’t focus on anything except the pain she’s feeling. It’s really hard for her right now. She plans to take a few weeks off to recharge, but reassured everyone she’s not going to rehab. She just needs some time away from her phone.
Lily, who’s 39, has been sober for about five years now. Her last album came out in 2018, and since then, she’s been acting in plays like 2:22 A Ghost Story and The Pillowman.
She also starred in the Sky series Dreamland. The Miss Me? podcast started in March 2024, where they chat about life and pop culture, and they even answer listener questions.
They won an award for best entertainment podcast at the British Podcast Awards in September. Lily has mentioned she hopes to get back into the studio to make more music later this year.
We all know her for hits like Smile and LDN, plus that lovely cover of Keane’s Somewhere Only We Know from the John Lewis Christmas ad in 2013.
