Bradford: So, get this! Police found a lorry packed with stolen whisky worth a whopping £70,000. It all went down on the M606, which had to close for a bit.
Officers from West Yorkshire were out on a drink drive patrol when they spotted this lorry acting a bit shady. Turns out, it had tried to make a run for it earlier!
They had to chase it for a short while before using a stinger to stop it. Can you believe they weren’t expecting to find a stash of stolen booze?
When they searched the lorry, they found boxes of Johnny Cree whisky, all believed to be nicked. And guess what? There were no papers to back it up!
Two guys in the lorry got arrested and are now in custody. The M606 is back open now, but what a wild morning for the police!
