Firefighters found a fire in a vacant building. The fire spread across two floors. They used breathing gear and hose reels. Police showed up and closed the road. They shut down the A51, Nantwich Road. This let them handle the fire safely.
Around 12:30 AM, things got more serious. The fire had reached the loft. So, they set up a special ladder. It helped them fight fire from above. Crews built a water relay system, too. They needed to get water to the back of the building.
