Aberdeen: The search for the missing twin sisters, Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, is still ongoing. Police have shared that the River Dee is the main focus of their efforts.

These sisters, both 32, were last spotted on CCTV at Victoria Bridge around 2:12 AM last Tuesday. They were seen walking towards a footpath near the River Dee, but after that, they just disappeared.

Authorities have brought in a police helicopter, dog units, and marine teams to help with the search. They’re also checking areas along the coast towards the Port of Aberdeen and Duthie Park.

Eliza and Henrietta moved to Scotland from Hungary about seven years ago. Their family is understandably worried sick about them.

Chief Inspector Darren Bruce mentioned that they’re really concerned and have put a lot of resources into finding the sisters. He’s asking anyone who might have seen something to come forward, even if it seems minor.

They’re also working with officials in Hungary to support the sisters’ relatives during this tough time. Both women are described as white, slim, and have long brown hair.

If you have any information, you can reach out to the police at 101, quoting incident number 0735 from January 7, 2025. They’re especially interested in dashcam footage from that night.

Ch Insp Bruce is urging local businesses to check their CCTV from early that Tuesday morning. Every little bit helps, and they want to piece together what happened.

Eliza and Henrietta are part of a close-knit family, and it’s heartbreaking for them not knowing what’s going on.
