A man faces serious charges after allegedly breaking into a farm and engaging in sexual acts with a Shetland pony in Wiltshire
Trowbridge: So, there’s this wild story coming out of Wiltshire. A guy named Damion Ogeare, 43, is in some serious trouble. He’s accused of breaking into a farm and, well, doing some really inappropriate things with a Shetland pony.
He showed up at Salisbury Crown Court for a hearing, but all he did was confirm his name. The court decided to give him more time to figure out his legal aid situation, so he didn’t officially plead guilty or not.
This all went down at Maylands Farm last January. Apparently, Ogeare broke into a stable where two Shetland ponies were kept and had sexual contact with a mare named Cassieopia Wooley. Yikes!
There’s even CCTV footage that supposedly shows him arriving at the farm and leaving just ten minutes later. The prosecutor, Christina Norgan, mentioned that he’s facing two charges related to this incident.
Ogeare is set to return to court on February 27. He’s already denied one charge of sexual penetration with an animal and another for trespassing with the intent to commit a sexual offense.
When he showed up in court, he was dressed in a black coat and a sherpa hat, but he didn’t enter a formal plea since the hearing was postponed. What a bizarre situation!
