Lancashire: So, there’s this really tragic story about a young woman named Kiena Dawes. She was just 23 when she took her life on a railway line back in July 2022. Before she did, she left a heartbreaking note saying she felt like she was murdered.

Her fiancé, Ryan Wellings, who’s 30, is now on trial for manslaughter. Kiena described him as a “monster” and a “bully” in her note. It’s just gut-wrenching to think about what she went through.

During the trial, it came out that Wellings had been abusive towards her for years. He even threatened her with a drill once, which is just horrifying. You can’t help but feel for Kiena and what she must have endured.

What’s even more shocking is that right after he was charged, Wellings was seen drinking Prosecco and making nasty comments about Kiena’s mom. He recorded a video where he seemed completely unfazed, calling her mother names and saying it was all “s**t.” It’s hard to believe someone could act that way after such a tragedy.

Wellings claims he didn’t mean to upload the video and was just in a bad place, but the prosecution argues it shows his true character. He’s denying all the charges, but the evidence is pretty damning. The trial is still ongoing, and it’s just a really sad situation all around.
