A man faces serious charges of sexual assault and making inappropriate comments to minors in New Cumnock and Barrhill
New Cumnock: So, there’s this guy, Ramsay Cumming, who’s in a lot of trouble. He’s accused of sexually assaulting a girl and making some really inappropriate comments.
He’s 49 and apparently did this on multiple occasions. It’s not just one girl either; he’s also said to have made sexual remarks to another child in Barrhill.
According to court documents, he was trying to engage the girl in some pretty disturbing conversations from January 2019 to December 2021. It’s really unsettling stuff.
The allegations suggest he was doing all this to get some sort of sexual gratification or just to upset her. It’s just awful.
He’s also accused of physically assaulting her, like slapping her buttocks and even getting into her bed while naked. Can you believe that?
Prosecutors say he pressed his body against her and exposed himself, thinking she would see him. It’s just beyond comprehension.
Now, Cumming, who lives in Lochans, has another charge for making sexual comments to a different child. This was from December 2021 to July 2022.
They say he was trying to engage that boy in similar indecent conversations. It’s all just so disturbing.
His first hearing got pushed back at Ayr Sheriff Court, and he’ll have to face these serious allegations later in the New Year.
