A man and a teenager were arrested following a series of arson attacks on a house in Stechford, raising concerns in the community.
Stechford: So, there’s been some serious trouble in the neighborhood. A man and a teenager got arrested after a house was targeted not once, but twice by arsonists. Can you believe it?
It all started on December 29 when a car was set on fire on Albert Road. Then, on New Year’s Eve, someone tried to torch a house. Luckily, the fire didn’t spread too much, but it still caused some damage.
Before all this, there was even a shooting at the same house on December 7. Thankfully, no one got hurt in any of these incidents, which is a relief.
West Midlands Police jumped into action and arrested the duo on January 1. They’re still in custody while the investigation continues. The police are looking into whether all these incidents are connected and are checking out CCTV footage.
They’ve assured the community that they’re on it and will have extra officers around to keep everyone feeling safe. If anyone has info, they’re encouraged to reach out to the police.
