Middlesbrough: On Monday evening, police rushed to Fonteyn Court in Hemlington after paramedics found a teenage boy with a stab wound.

The 17-year-old was taken to James Cook University Hospital. Thankfully, his injuries were non-life-threatening, and he was released later.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing four police cars and an ambulance at the scene, lights flashing. An air ambulance also showed up, with paramedics working alongside the North East Ambulance Service.

Cleveland Police confirmed that a 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in custody.

Investigations are still ongoing. A spokesperson from the North East Ambulance Service mentioned they received the call at 7:09 PM and dispatched a crew along with a specialist paramedic.

They took one patient to the hospital for further treatment. The Great North Air Ambulance team also responded quickly, arriving just after 7:30 PM to assist in assessing and treating the patient.
