An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the shooting of Michelle Sadio outside a church in north-west London
London: An 18-year-old guy was taken into custody after a woman was shot outside a church. It’s a tragic situation that has left many in shock.
Michelle Sadio, 44, was among mourners outside the River of Life Elim Pentecostal Church when the gunfire erupted around 9:30 PM on December 14. Sadly, she didn’t survive.
Two other men in their 30s were also hurt. One is still in the hospital but is stable, while the other has been treated and released. It’s just awful.
Police believe the shots came from a black Kia Niro with unique wheels. After the shooting, the car was found abandoned and set on fire nearby.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke is leading the investigation. He mentioned that while the arrest is a big step, they still need more information from the public.
He called it a senseless act of violence that took an innocent life. Michelle’s family is heartbroken, and the police are committed to bringing those responsible to justice.
