Leyland: On December 19, police got calls about some burglaries and attempted break-ins at two homes in the area.
They arrested a guy named Connor Murray, who’s 24 and lives on Westfield Drive, Leyland. This all went down on Wednesday, and now he’s facing charges.
He’s due in court at Preston Magistrates today. A police spokesperson mentioned that they charged him after looking into the incidents from December 19.
They said, “After a lot of work by the South Residential Burglary team, we arrested Connor Murray, who’s now charged with burglary, attempted burglary, and making threats to damage property.”
He’s currently in custody and will be appearing in court today. The police are running a campaign called Operation Defender to tackle residential burglaries.
This operation focuses on catching offenders, giving crime prevention tips, and supporting victims to keep them at the center of investigations.
