Sydney: A tragic incident unfolded when a man died after being arrested for allegedly trying to enter cars with a knife. It all happened in the busy streets of Sydney.

Police got a call about a guy trying to stop traffic and get into vehicles on Remembrance Driveway. They rushed to the scene around 1 PM on Friday.

When they arrived, they found a 33-year-old man lying on the hood of a car. Officers pulled out a Taser and told him to get down, which he did without any fuss.

They didn’t even have to use the Taser. The police arrested him with some help from bystanders and found a knife nearby.

Ambulance crews took him to the hospital, but while on the way, he had a serious medical episode. The ambulance had to pull over to give him urgent care.

Despite the efforts of multiple ambulance teams, they couldn’t revive him, and he sadly passed away at Liverpool Hospital shortly after.

Now, a critical incident team is looking into what happened, and there’s also an independent review by the Professional Standards Command.
