A 45-year-old motorcyclist died after a collision with a car in Parr. Police are investigating and appealing for witnesses.

A bad crash happened in Parr around 11:30 AM. It was Wednesday, February 5th.

A motorcycle and a Vauxhall Meriva collided. The road closed in both directions. Emergency services responded to the incident quickly. Sadly, the police said the motorcyclist died.

He was 45 years old. His injuries were very serious, and he passed away at the scene. The car’s driver stayed at the scene. A cordon remains in place now. Investigators are working at the crash site.

Drivers should avoid the road. Police ask witnesses to contact them. They are just starting their investigation. Officers will review CCTV and interview people nearby.

Detective Sergeant Andy Roper expressed his sympathy. He sends thoughts to the man’s family. Trained officers are helping them. Roper says this was a very sad event.
