Porthmadog: So, there was this guy who got seriously hurt and had to be airlifted to the hospital. It all went down on New Year’s Day in Gwynedd. Emergency services, including police and a coastguard helicopter, rushed to the scene in the town center.

North Wales Police confirmed that the man was taken to a hospital in Liverpool. They mentioned that they’re still looking into how he got those injuries. It’s a bit of a mystery right now.

Apparently, officers were patrolling the High Street when they noticed the ambulance staff needed help. They jumped in to assist, and the man was flown to Aintree hospital, where he’s still getting treatment.

Detective Inspector Trystan Davies said they’re not sure how the injuries happened, but it seems to be an isolated case. So, no need to worry about the community at large.

The HM Coastguard also got involved, helping the Welsh Ambulance Service after a report came in about a man with head injuries. They flew him to Crosby for further medical care.
