London: So, there was this guy, Daniel Sterling, who just showed up in court. He’s facing some serious charges after a hit-and-run on New Year’s Eve that hurt two people.

The whole thing went down near Regent’s Park Road and Primrose Hill. It was packed with folks celebrating and watching the fireworks when the crash happened.

Daniel, 40, was in court looking a bit nervous in his grey sweater. He’s charged with dangerous driving and a bunch of other stuff, including having a knife and causing serious injury.

After the crash, the police were called right after midnight. Apparently, he hit one pedestrian and then took off, hitting another one down the road.

One of the guys, a 21-year-old, was lucky and only had minor injuries. The other, a 59-year-old, needed a bit more help but is okay now.

They’ve confirmed it’s not linked to any terror activity, which is a relief. Daniel’s been held in custody and will be back in court on February 3 for more on this case.
