A man in his 40s was rescued from a car crash on the A449 near Worcester, leading to road closures and emergency services on the scene.
Worcester: Early this morning, a car accident happened on the A449. A vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a tree, prompting a quick response from emergency services.
Fire crews arrived at around 6:23 AM, and they had to close the road to handle the situation safely. The police and ambulance were also on the scene to assist.
Thankfully, a man in his 40s was freed from the wreckage using special tools. He was then taken care of by the ambulance team.
The road remains closed for now, so if you’re heading that way, you might want to find an alternative route.
A spokesperson from the fire service confirmed that three crews were involved in the rescue, with two coming from Worcester and one from Droitwich.
They reported that the man was safely extricated and handed over to the ambulance service.
