Liverpool: So, there was this wild incident where a house caught fire after some fireworks were shot at it. It happened late Wednesday night, around 11:35 PM. Smoke was pouring out of the bay window of a Victorian house on Garswood Street.

Neighbors jumped into action, trying to put out the flames. One guy even tossed a snowman onto the fire before the firefighters arrived. Can you believe that? A snowman!

One neighbor, who was just chilling at home playing Football Manager, heard a loud bang and rushed outside. He mentioned that the folks living there usually keep to themselves, but everyone came together to help. They were using buckets of water and trying to get a hose going, but it wasn’t much help.

Sadly, one person had to be rescued and taken to the hospital, while two others managed to escape through the back. The police arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of arson and criminal damage.

Detective Inspector Steve Street said it could have been a lot worse, but thankfully no one was seriously hurt. They’re still figuring out the motive behind this crazy act and are asking anyone with info or footage to come forward. It’s a real head-scratcher!
