Canterbury: A woman was attacked early Friday morning while walking in Military Road. A man approached her, demanding her purse, and things turned violent.

After the assault, she managed to escape in a vehicle with someone else. But it didn’t end there. The same man then threatened two other guys nearby in Starle Close.

Those men quickly got inside a house, and the suspect took off on foot. Police were called to the scene and described the attacker as a white male in his early 20s, slim build, with medium-length dark hair.

He was wearing a hoody, a silver chain, and had a small Nike bag with him. The police are really hoping someone saw something. They’re asking anyone with info, especially if you have CCTV or dashcam footage, to reach out.
