The Manx Wildlife Trust is on the lookout for passionate volunteers to join their board and help protect local wildlife
Isle of Man: The Manx Wildlife Trust (MWT) is on the hunt for new trustees and a secretary. They want folks who care about nature and want to make a difference.
This charity is all about protecting the island’s wildlife and natural beauty. They’re looking for people with different skills to help guide their future.
Simon Cain, the chair, mentioned it’s a thrilling time for MWT. Their work has grown a lot in the past five years, and they need fresh ideas to keep moving forward.
They’re especially keen on hearing from people with backgrounds in conservation, law, or finance. But really, anyone who loves wildlife and wants to help is welcome to apply.
The secretary will also be a trustee, making sure meetings run smoothly and everything is above board. No experience in charity work? No problem! They’ll provide all the training you need.
If you’re interested, check out their website for more info on how to apply. Just remember, the deadline is midnight on February 16, so don’t wait too long!
Interviews will happen shortly after the application period ends. For any questions, you can email them or visit their site for more details.
