A body found in the Nevada desert is thought to be 17-year-old Jenna Hin, who vanished after a family dispute
Police say the body matches Jenna’s description. She was reported missing on December 30, 2024, after leaving home due to a family issue.
Mark Speer, from Red Rock Search & Rescue, mentioned it was just a typical family dispute that teens often have with their parents. Nothing too unusual.
Before she disappeared, Jenna reportedly said something like, “You don’t have to worry about me anymore.” Her family said she didn’t have a phone or any money with her that night.
On Sunday, police were alerted to her scent in the desert and found a deceased female matching Jenna’s description. They don’t think foul play was involved.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will confirm the identity once they notify her family. They haven’t released a cause of death yet.
This discovery came just two days after her mom made a heartfelt plea for help in finding Jenna. She expressed her love and desire for her daughter to come home safely.
On Sunday, her mom shared a photo of Jenna on Facebook, asking where she was and who she was with, hoping for her safe return.
