A mother is in court, charged with murdering her son and attempting to kill her father on the same tragic day in Swansea
Swansea: So, there’s this really heartbreaking case going on. A mum, Karolina Zurawska, is in court because she’s accused of killing her six-year-old son, Alexander, and also trying to hurt her dad on the same day.
It’s just awful. Alexander was found at home with a serious neck injury. The police got called in after neighbors heard something was wrong. They found him in a really bad state, and it’s just tragic.
Karolina, who’s 41, appeared in court but only confirmed her name. They didn’t ask her to plead yet. There’s a trial set for February, but it’s been pushed back for more reports.
The family has shared how sweet Alexander was. They said he was kind, loved playing with his little sister and their dog, Daisy. He was smart and always eager to help out around the house.
His school headteacher also spoke about how loved he was by everyone. It’s just so sad to think about what happened and how many people are affected by this.
