Meet Frankie, the five-year-old French bulldog who might just break records with his massive size and charm
Salford: Have you heard about Frankie? He’s a French bulldog who’s turning heads everywhere he goes. His owner, Danielle, can’t take him for a walk without people stopping to gawk.
This big guy weighs in at 26kg, which is about the same as a small deer! Danielle thinks he might be the biggest French bulldog in the world, outpacing any other known giant.
When Frankie was just a pup, Danielle noticed he was already quite long and had huge paws. He just kept growing, and now he’s a real showstopper.
People can’t help but notice him. Danielle works in travel, and she’s convinced Frankie could take the title from another big Frenchie named Diaz in Australia.
Diaz weighs 22kg and has been claiming the title down under. His owner, Aden, knew he was going to be a big boy from a young age, and he’s already more than double the average weight for his breed.
Typically, French bulldogs are around 11 to 12 inches tall, with males weighing between 20 to 28 pounds. But Frankie? He’s a whole different story at 26kg!
Danielle is even thinking about entering him into the Guinness World Records. She’s always known he was big, but she never thought he’d be this massive.
People often ask if he’s mixed, but Danielle has the papers to prove he’s purebred. He was the last pup left in his litter, and she couldn’t resist taking him home.
Frankie’s become a local celebrity in Salford. Kids even shout his name when they see him! He’s all muscle and thinks he’s a lap dog, which is pretty funny given his size.
Despite being a giant, he’s a total softie who loves cuddles. Danielle says he’s just on regular dried food, no fancy diet, and he’s still this big!
Whenever she travels for work, people always stop to ask about him. There’s no official record for the biggest French bulldog, but Danielle’s dad suggested she reach out to Guinness World Records. Everyone is amazed when they see Frankie!
