Nairn: The community centre was buzzing with excitement as it hosted the only live Hogmanay party in Scotland. It was a real treat for everyone involved.

People who got tickets for the BBC Alba Cèilidh na Bliadhn’ Uire welcomed the New Year with a fantastic night of music and fun. Mànran and other artists kept the energy high.

Centre manager Rhona MacDonald expressed how honored they felt to host such a prestigious event. She said the collaboration with the BBC Alba team was a fantastic experience.

About 180 folks filled the venue, enjoying the lively atmosphere. Presenters Cathy MacDonald and Niall Iain MacDonald led the show, making it a memorable night.

Despite the weather, the audience came from all over, even joining online from different parts of the world. It was a true community celebration.
