Richmond has just launched a new banking hub, making it easier for locals to access essential banking services and support.
The hub is now up and running at its permanent spot. It offers a Post Office counter for everyday banking and community banker services from major banks.
Everyone celebrated the teamwork that made this project happen. Key partners from Cash Access UK, the Post Office, and the local community were all there to mark the occasion.
The Richmond and Northallerton MP shared how great it is to see the hub open. He mentioned how important it is for the community to have access to these services.
Gareth Oakley, the CEO of Cash Access UK, expressed his excitement about the hub. He highlighted how it ensures residents and businesses can access cash and face-to-face banking.
Phil Upton from the Richmond Business Association also chimed in, saying the hub is fantastic news for residents. He believes it will be a great success.
Already, the hub is making a positive impact on local residents, small businesses, and those who need cash and personal support. It offers services during the week and has a rotating schedule of Community Bankers to provide tailored advice.
