They’re really pushing for tips, offering a $10,000 reward, while the FBI is throwing in an extra $50,000. So, if you know anything, now’s the time to speak up!

Thompson was shot at close range near the New York Hilton Midtown just before a big investor meeting. The shooter took off right after the incident and is still on the loose.

Mayor Eric Adams mentioned that “the net is tightening” around the suspect. Meanwhile, NYPD divers were searching a pond in Central Park for the gun used in the crime.

Interestingly, they think the suspect might have used a veterinary gun, which is typically used to put down animals quietly. They also found a gray backpack in Central Park that might belong to him, filled with Monopoly money and a Tommy Hilfiger jacket.

It turns out the suspect arrived in NYC on November 24 after taking a Greyhound bus from Atlanta. But they’re still figuring out where he got on the bus.

Officers from the NYPD even went to Atlanta to work with local police on this case. Stay tuned for more updates!
