London: A man is in serious trouble after a scary machete fight in central London. It all went down on New Year’s Day, and it was pretty chaotic.

Emergency crews rushed to Oxford Street early in the morning. People were screaming and running everywhere as two guys went at it with big knives. It was packed with partygoers, making it even more intense.

One guy ended up with a severe injury and had to be taken to a trauma center. The police haven’t made any arrests yet but are trying to track down those involved.

A police spokesperson said they got the call at 3:05 a.m. about the fight. They confirmed one man was seriously hurt, and a crime scene is set up while they investigate.

Officers are now examining the area, which has led to Bond Street Tube station being closed. A witness described the scene as terrifying, with people panicking and police and paramedics arriving quickly.

Police are asking anyone who saw anything or has footage to come forward to help with the investigation.
