Two months of night-time closures are set for the A16 Pinchbeck roundabout to facilitate ongoing improvement works.
Spalding: So, here’s the scoop. They’re planning two months of night-time closures at the A16 Pinchbeck roundabout. It’s all part of some big improvement works happening there.
Lincolnshire County Council is behind this project. They’ve said the closures will help them get the roundabout resurfaced and make it safer for everyone.
Karen Cassar, who’s in charge of highways, mentioned they’re almost ready to start the resurfacing. This includes a good chunk of the A16 south of the roundabout.
Now, the closures will kick off on Monday, January 20, and will run from 8 PM to 6 AM on weekdays. So, if you’re out and about during those hours, expect some delays.
They’ve got diversion routes set up, so you can still get around. Just keep an eye out for signs directing you via the A151, A17, and other local roads.
This whole project is part of a £20 million scheme aimed at improving the A16. It’s a big deal, and they’re hoping it’ll make a real difference once it’s all done.
