Police are on the lookout for two missing puppies after a theft in Shroton, with five already found and two still missing
After some serious detective work and a couple of public appeals, good news came in! Two of the puppies were found safe and sound at a vet in Fordingbridge. That leaves just two still missing.
The police have already nabbed a 28-year-old guy from East Dorset and a 22-year-old woman from Wimborne on suspicion of the burglary. They’ve been released on bail while the investigation rolls on.
Oh, and there’s more! A man in his 40s was also arrested for handling stolen goods, but he’s out on bail too.
Police Constable Kate Schofield from the rural crime team is pretty happy about the two puppies being found. She mentioned that the family is over the moon with the news.
But here’s the catch: they still need to find those last two puppies. Kate is urging anyone who might know something to reach out.
With all the buzz around this case, the puppies could be anywhere, even being sold in sketchy situations. So, if you see or hear anything, don’t hesitate to let the police know.
The investigation is still very active, and they’re working with other forces to track down the last two pups and figure out what really happened.
