The change will replace the two-tier system. All services would go to one authority, like in nearby places such as Buckinghamshire. Councilor Liz Leffman stated some things too. She’s glad the election is still on May 1st.
She also said that the government wants unitary authorities now. They are talking and planning for this change and discussing things with other councils too.
