A woman caused chaos on a flight from Belfast to Manchester, hurling racist insults and disrupting fellow passengers.
Belfast: A flight from Belfast to Manchester turned wild when a woman in her 50s started shouting racist slurs at other passengers. It was quite a scene!
Witness Shauna Corr, who was on the flight, felt bad for the couple and kids sitting behind the woman. She described the language as awful and derogatory, especially towards Muslims and Ukrainians.
In a video, you can see other passengers telling the woman to calm down. Even a steward had to step in, warning her that the police would be called if she didn’t stop.
But the woman just kept going, swearing and shouting until she was finally escorted off the plane. Shauna thought the crew handled it well, but the whole thing was pretty disgusting.
It all started midway through the flight when the woman even grabbed some Tayto crisps from a flight attendant without paying. Shauna initially thought it was a kid acting out, but it escalated quickly.
People were shocked that it was a middle-aged woman behaving like that. It’s just not what you expect, right?
EasyJet confirmed that police met the flight upon arrival due to the disruptive behavior. They emphasized that their crew is trained to handle such situations to keep everyone safe.
Greater Manchester Police reported that they were called about a drunk and disorderly woman on the flight. When the plane landed, they arrested her for being intoxicated onboard and took her in for questioning.
