Sir Jeremy Isaacs receives knighthood for his vital role in expanding Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice in North London
London: Sir Jeremy Isaacs, the former chair of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, has been knighted in the New Year’s Honours. He expressed his honor at receiving this recognition from King Charles for his dedication to philanthropy and children’s hospice care.
Isaacs has been a key figure in the charity’s journey, especially during his time as chair from 2017 to 2022. He’s been involved with Noah’s Ark since 2009, helping to raise a whopping £13.5 million to build a new facility in Barnet, which opened in September 2019.
Under his leadership, the charity’s annual income skyrocketed from £600,000 to £7.6 million. His efforts have truly transformed Noah’s Ark into a multi-award-winning charity that makes a real difference in the lives of children and families.
Besides his work with Noah’s Ark, Sir Jeremy founded JRJ Group and has been involved in various philanthropic activities. He’s also served on the British Olympic Advisory Board and as a non-executive director at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
