Authorities are actively searching for Eliza and Henrietta, last seen in Aberdeen, as concerns grow for their safety and well-being
The River Dee is where the search is mainly focused since there’s no sign of them leaving the area. Police Scotland has brought in helicopters, dogs, and their marine unit to help with the search, working alongside other emergency services.
The search area is expanding, now reaching the coast near the Port of Aberdeen’s South Harbour and Duthie Park. Officers are also coordinating with authorities in Hungary, where the sisters were born, to support their family.
Both women are described as white, slim, and have long brown hair. Chief Inspector Darren Bruce mentioned that their family is understandably very worried, and the police are doing everything they can to find them.
He urged anyone who might have seen something to come forward, especially if they were in the area at that time. If you have any information, even if it seems small, please share it.
Businesses around South Esplanade and Menzies Road are being asked to check their CCTV footage from early January 7 and to reach out if they find anything useful. They’re also looking for dashcam footage from that morning.
If you have any tips, you can contact the police at 101 and mention incident number 0735 from January 7, 2025.
