Authorities are seeking help to find a woman who was dragged into a car and assaulted in Stockport, raising serious safety concerns
Stockport: So, there’s this really worrying situation going on. Police are super concerned because they can’t find a woman who was dragged into a car and assaulted. It all happened on December 28 when someone reported seeing her trying to escape from a car at a busy junction.
Apparently, she was pulled back in and then assaulted inside the vehicle. The car was a dark hatchback, and it was last spotted heading towards Davenport railway station early that morning.
Greater Manchester Police are really pushing for help from the public. They described the woman as white, wearing dark leggings and Ugg boots. The driver was a white guy in a black coat or jumper.
Pc Natalie Jamieson mentioned they’ve been doing everything they can—house-to-house inquiries, checking CCTV, and looking at dashcam footage. But so far, no luck in finding either the woman or the driver.
It’s pretty urgent since they believe the woman might need immediate help. The police are worried she could be outside the Greater Manchester area by now, given that the car was moving.
