Netley: So, there’s been a really tragic incident in Hampshire. A 19-year-old named Tawana Choruma was stabbed to death, and it’s just heartbreaking.
It happened on Station Road around 6:26 PM on December 18. Tawana was found injured, but sadly, despite the paramedics’ best efforts, he couldn’t be saved.
The police are on it, questioning three 18-year-old guys from Southampton who are suspected of being involved. They’re really trying to get to the bottom of this.
Right now, Tawana’s family is getting support from specialist officers, which is good to hear. It’s a tough time for them, and they need all the help they can get.
The police are also asking anyone who was around the Station Road recreation ground during the incident to come forward. Every little bit of information helps.
Two of the suspects were arrested for murder, and one was also caught with stolen property. There’s even a woman who got arrested for helping an offender and for having some drugs and an imitation firearm. She’s out on bail now.
