In a separate incident, police are looking for witnesses after two people were hurt in an assault in Cheltenham. It happened at Cotswold Kebab around 2:30 AM on January 2. A guy was reportedly kicked while on the ground, and he left before the police got there. Witnesses said he was covered in blood, which sounds pretty serious.
A woman who tried to help him ended up getting kicked in the face multiple times and had to go to the hospital. The attacker is still on the loose, described as a mixed heritage man with long curly hair. Police are asking anyone with information or footage to come forward. They really want to get to the bottom of this.
