Authorities are conducting extensive land, air, and water searches for two sisters missing from Aberdeen since early Tuesday morning
Aberdeen: Scottish police are really ramping up their search for two sisters who went missing. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, were last spotted on Market Street after leaving home early Tuesday.
They were seen crossing the Victoria Bridge towards the Torry area, heading for the Aberdeen Boat Club. It’s a bit concerning since they’re part of a set of triplets and originally from Hungary.
Specialist teams and police dogs are on the case, and they’ve even got help from the sisters’ home country. Their family is in touch with the police, which is good to know.
Their brother Jozsef mentioned that their mom had a chat with them on Saturday, and everything seemed normal. Their sister Edit, the other triplet, said they looked happy during a video call on New Year’s Eve.
It’s strange for them to be missing like this since they’re really close and usually do everything together. Eliza works at Costa Coffee in the Bon Accord shopping center, and the cafe is helping with the investigation.
Local businesses are being asked to check their CCTV footage to see if they caught anything useful. Ch Insp Darren Bruce from Police Scotland said they’re doing everything they can to find the sisters.
He mentioned that searches are ongoing in the area where they were last seen, and they’re hoping anyone with dashcam footage will reach out. It’s a tough situation, and everyone is hoping for a quick resolution.
