Her office handles complaints about police conduct, which is super important for maintaining public trust. Recently, there was a situation involving West Midlands Police looking into an incident at a property linked to her in Holywood, Co Down.
On September 23, officers responded to a domestic incident at that property. A man was arrested but later released while the investigation continued. The case has since been handed over to the Public Prosecution Service.
Marie is keen to get back to work and continue the important investigations that help build confidence in policing. She’s ready to make a difference again!
