On the 12th anniversary of Kyle Vaughan’s disappearance, police seek public help to uncover new leads in the ongoing investigation
Newbridge: It’s been 12 years since Kyle Vaughan went missing, and the police are still looking for answers. He was just 24 when he disappeared on December 30, 2012.
His car was found abandoned on a country road, which kicked off a murder investigation. But to this day, no one knows what really happened to him.
Detective Chief Superintendent Andrew Tuck is leading the case. He mentioned that Kyle would be 36 now and that the team is still following up on any new leads.
His family has been left with so many questions, and the police keep in touch with them as they work to find out the truth.
They’re asking anyone who might have even the tiniest bit of information to come forward. It could really help the investigation.
Kyle, who was known as Jabbers to his friends, was last seen at home. Later that night, his damaged silver Peugeot 306 was discovered on the A467.
While it’s unclear if he was driving, police believe he could have walked away from the crash. Eight people were arrested in connection with his disappearance, but they were all released without charges.
