Authorities are investigating an antisemitic incident at Liverpool Street station, urging witnesses to come forward with information.
Liverpool: So, there was this pretty shocking incident at Liverpool Street station. A guy was waiting for the Elizabeth Line when he got hit with some nasty antisemitic abuse.
This all went down around 11:30 PM on October 4. The poor guy was just minding his own business when some dude started shouting hateful stuff at him.
When he tried to walk away, the guy didn’t stop. He actually followed him and got physical. It’s really upsetting to hear about stuff like this happening.
The British Transport Police are on it, treating it as a racially aggravated assault. They’ve even released a CCTV image of the suspect and are asking for help.
If anyone recognizes him, they want you to reach out. You can text BTP at 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, just mention the case number from October 5.
And if you want to stay anonymous, you can contact Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111. Let’s hope they catch this guy soon!
